Northwest Imaging gets new MRI scanner

Northwest Medical Center added a new MRI scanner to its new CT/MRI imaging center named Northwest Imaging, 6200 N. La Cholla Blvd.

The new 3Tesla MRI from Philips Medical Systems, is said to be one of the strongest MRI magnets on the market. The system enables higher-resolution scans, providing more detailed, quality images. It also has a wider opening and faster scan times than previous machines.
