Businesses looking to do work for government agencies — especially now that government agencies are receiving federal stimulus money — might learn some valuable information attending what’s being called a “Reverse Trade Show.”

The event, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 4, offers direct access to dozens of governmental agencies all at one time as well as the opportunity to network local and regional businesses and the resources of chambers of commerce.

The event will be held at the Hotel Arizona, 181 W. Broadway. Cost is $100, or $80 without lunch. Although pre-registration has already ended, on-site registration is available the day of the show. Event information is online at www.copperchapter.com.

The event will have 12 different training sessions on a variety of topics, such as preparing competitive proposals, small business programs, construction, and federal stimulus funding.

The event is sponsored by the Copper Chapter of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing.
