Tucson gas prices up, but others go higher

Tucson gas prices for regular inched upward almost a half-cent per gallon to an average of $2.222, according to AAA Arizona’s weekly survey.

Still, though, Tucsonans pay the lowest average price in the state and Arizona has some of the lowest gas prices in the country. The statewide average was up about a penny a gallon last week to $2.441 and nationally the price was up almost 13 cents a gallon in a week to $2.616.
